Communication
The ability to communicate is one of the most important aspects of life. It is how we show our wants and needs. We often take it for granted. We connect to others and start relationships because of communication. We start to communicate before we can talk. Babies make eye contact, smile and show interest in the people around them. Children with autism communicate differently, but none the less still communicate. They need to communicate but often feel frustrated because they can't get their intentions across. In order to help them facilitate their intentions, students with autism can learn strategies and interventions to help them.
