Learning in the Classroom
With inclusion becoming more and more popular because of the least restrictive environment, teachers are faced with all kinds of student levels in their classroom. Teachers have to be aware of the individuals who have IEPs or just need a little extra support. It's not new knowledge that everyone learns differently. Children with disabilities are no different. General education teachers need to know a wide variety of strategies to help support all students. The teachers need to work with paras, parents, special education teachers, and support services. But, keeping in mind that we are all here for the success of the student, the classroom environment can be a very easy going and problem free state.
